Exotic Wood Jewelry Box - Adobe Wooden Jewelry Box
This is a an exotic wood jewelry box influenced by Southwest architecture. I used walnut dowels to represent the vigas and small pieces along the top to represent canales (water channels for rooftop drainage).
The box is made of pecan, with a Koto veenered lid. Koto is a wood native to West Africa.
The bottom is lined with a black suede-like material.
The box is finished with three coats of Danish oil.
The dimensions are 11.25 x 7.25 x 3.25 in.
